DAY 1 > ARRIVAL IN VIENTIANE
On arrival, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Rest of day free.
DAY 2 > VIENTIANE HALF DAY CITY TOUR AND FLIGHT TO LUANG PRABANG (B)
Explore the ancient city of Vientiane, situated on a bend on the left bank of the Mekong. It is Laos’ capital and her largest city. Visit including stops at That Luang, the holiest site in Laos, and Patuxai, Vientiane’s own ‘Arc de Triomphe’. Transfer to the airport for the late afternoon flight to Luang Prabang.
DAY 3 > LUANG PRABANG (B)
Rise early to watch the monks collecting alms before heading to the nearby market. After breakfast at your hotel visit the National Museum, Wat Mai and picturesque Wat Xieng Thong. Take an interesting visit to ‘The Traditional Arts & Ethnology Centre’. Travel to Phone Say village, one of the most intact traditional Lao villages in the area. Later climb up Phou Si Hill to be rewarded with fantastic views over the city. Continue to the nearby night market.
DAY 4 > LUANG PRABANG (BL)
Board a traditional river longboat and cruise leisurely upstream. Stop at the Pak Ou Caves. Stop at a weaving centre. Natural dyes and weaving techniques are symbolic of Lao textiles. There may also be an opportunity to interact with Joanna Smith, a UK photographer who has been in Laos for seven years attempting to preserve the art of Laos traditional weaving.
DAY 5 > LUANG PRABANG – DEPARTURE (B)
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please read the following booking conditions carefully as they set out the terms and conditions of the contract between you and the Pioneer Asia Holidays.
RESERVATION & PAYMENT
All bookings will be confirmed by Pioneer Asia Holidays in writing along with confirmation of balance payment details. A deposit as required by us and the amount of which will be advised at the time of booking. Followed by the final balance of the cost by a specified date. The tour balance for all bookings will be direct debited from the payment details given at the time of booking 45 days prior to the departure date of the tour; if there is a failure to complete the payment Pioneer Asia Holidays reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
TOUR PRICES AND VALIDITY:
Prices quoted in USD per person in twin shared basis. Itineraries and prices are valid from the most relevant edition of the website & the time of printing our brochure in October 2015 until 31 Sep 2018. Pioneer Asia Holidays reserves the right to change any of the facilities, services, prices, itineraries or vehicles described in the brochure or online without being liable for compensation or refund.
CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENT POLICY
Cancellation and Amendment: Any cancellation or amendment request must be sent to us in writing and will not take effect until received by us. If you cancel or amend your booking the principal(s) or supplier(s) may charge the cancellation or amendment charge shown in their Terms and Conditions (which may be 100% of the cost of the travel arrangements) and you must pay us a cancellation or amendment charge of a minimum of $30 per person.
If You Cancel Your Holiday: You, or any member of your party, may cancel your travel arrangements at any time. Written notification from the person who made the booking or your travel agent on your behalf must be received at our offices. Since we incur costs in cancelling your travel arrangements, you will have to pay the applicable cancellation charges up to the maximum shown below; depending how many days in advance of the departure date we receive the cancellation instruction:
